• Incredibly low mileage example
• Just one former keeper plus family
The Silver Spirit represents an era when Rolls-Royce aimed to combine opulence with updated design language. Introduced in 1980, and succeeding Rolls's ubiquitous Silver Shadow, the Silver Spirit was produced until 1999. With classic, clean lines and a long, elegant profile, the Silver Spirit is unmistakably a Rolls-Royce and featured modern touches that reflected late 20th century aesthetics. The Silver Spirit also incorporated advanced hydraulic self-levelling suspension to ensure a supremely comfortable ride, and features such as power-adjustable seats, climate control, and premium audio were introduced in the late 1980s. Under the bonnet, the Silver Spirit featured the Rolls-Royce 6.75 litre V8 engine, delivering smooth, understated power that prioritised comfort over raw performance. Inside, the Connolly leather seats, meticulously crafted wood veneers and plush carpets exude effortless luxury and elegance, whether its occupants are seated in the front or rear.
This wonderful example of the Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit was first registered on 29th September 1981 and has been with the vendors father since April 1986 when he became the second owner from new, purchasing from HRH Prince Yazid B S Abdulla Aziz, only passing to his daughter recently after his passing. Purchased by our vendor father after it had been standing for a number of years and owing to a successful family Bodyshop, he wanted to not only move into working with more prestige cars but also enabled him to tick the box of owning a car he always coveted. He decided he preferred the car in white with a contrasting Everflex roof (his wife's choice which was on the front of the Rolls-Royce sales brochure), so opted for a full glass out repaint and new roof, while doing this many items were replaced with countless invoices found from 1986 and photos detailing the work which left no stone untuned. The biscuit leather trim is all original as is the wood capping and dash with this example presenting every bit as a two owner, 25,000 mile car. Having been stored for the past year although regulatory started the Silver Spirit fires up upon the first turn of the key and all electrics appear to be functioning correctly. Last serviced by specialists in 2018 and then MoT prepared by the same specialists, Bradshaw Bentley in February 2026 who have cared for the car since 2012. We would advise a light service upon purchase, but the condition of this example is fantastic and for a one plus family owned example with such low mileage entirely collectable. Offered with good history file with almost every MoT test certificate and original sales brochure, viewing is highly recommended. Consigned by Mathew Priddy
