The Bentley Azure T represents the ultimate expression of Bentley’s traditional, full-size luxury convertible, hand-built at Crewe on the Arnage platform and produced in very limited numbers. With just 80 examples manufactured globally, the Azure T marked the final chapter for Bentley’s long-wheelbase, V8-powered open tourers, combining heritage craftsmanship with modern engineering in a way few cars before or since have managed.

At its core is Bentley’s stalwart 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V8, uprated in ‘T’ specification to deliver approximately 500bhp. This endowed the Azure T with immense, effortless performance, perfectly suited to its role as a refined grand tourer. Despite its scale, the car is capable of remarkable acceleration, yet retains the serene, unhurried character expected of the marque. The three-layer fabric hood operates in near silence, retracting in approximately 25 seconds to offer open-air motoring without compromise.

This particular example is one of an ultra-exclusive subset of just five Jack Barclay Special Edition cars, commissioned through Bentley’s long-established London retailer and specified to an elevated Mulliner standard. These cars represent an even rarer tier within the already limited Azure T production, with bespoke finishes and carefully curated details that distinguish them from the standard model.

Jack Barclay Special Edition cars were defined by their unique specifications and enhanced Mulliner detailing. These included exclusive paint finishes, bespoke quilted leather interiors and carefully selected veneers, alongside distinctive exterior elements such as dark-tinted grilles, a Jewel fuel filler cap and 20" two-piece alloy wheels. As a final-series model, the Azure T also benefitted from the most developed specification of the Arnage-based platform, representing the pinnacle of this lineage.

Finished in Beluga Black with a black quilted Mulliner leather interior, this example presents with a restrained and timeless aesthetic, allowing the craftsmanship and quality of materials to take centre stage. The interior reflects Bentley’s renowned attention to detail, with diamond-quilted hides and hand-finished surfaces throughout.

At the time of cataloguing, the odometer recorded just over 2,400 miles, a notably low figure for a car of this type and age. The car was acquired by our vendor approximately seven years ago and has been used sparingly during that period, including for his daughter’s wedding in recent years. The accompanying service book for the car shows most recent servicing carried out by Bentley at 2,399 miles in November 2025.

The Azure T occupies a significant place within Bentley’s history, representing the final iteration of its traditionally constructed, large-capacity convertible before the marque transitioned fully towards new-generation platforms under Volkswagen Group stewardship. As such, it is widely regarded as the end of an era - combining the craftsmanship, scale and character of Bentley’s past with the performance and engineering expected of a modern grand tourer.

With just 80 Azure Ts produced globally and only five examples specified as Jack Barclay Special Editions, opportunities to acquire such a car are exceptionally rare. When combined with this example’s low mileage and elegant specification, it represents a particularly compelling opportunity for collectors seeking one of the most exclusive modern Bentleys.
