For more than twenty years, Bentley's twin-turbo W12 has defined the character and performance of the brand's most focused models. Debuting in the 2003 Continental GT, its compact W-configuration delivered immense power with exceptional refinement. To celebrate everything that the W12 represents for Bentley, the Edition 12 was born. This series was limited to 120 examples for each of its flagship models, including the Flying Spur as the final, and most collectible W12-powered sedan variant ever produced. The two decades of development since its introduction resulted in power increasing by 37 percent and torque by 54 percent, thanks to advances in cooling, injection, turbocharging, and materials. As a result, the Speed Edition 12 produces 635 PS and 900 Nm of torque, with this exhilarating performance allowing the car to rocket to 100 km/h in approximately 3.8 seconds and on its way to a 333-km/h top speed. A fitting end to the meticulous engineering that created the W12, this Flying Spur is one of just 120 Edition 12 examples. Finished in Dark Sapphire, the interior of this limited-edition Bentley features matching Beluga Black leather contrasted with Linen accents and stitching. Numerous commemorative details were used, including the Edition 12 embroidered into the seat backs, treadplates, and welcome lamps, and the engine's firing order proudly displayed on the dash trim. The list of comfort and convenience features reads like a novel, ranging from the Naim audio system to heated and cooled seats, four-zone climate control, radar cruise control, and the latest in car infotainment systems. Optional equipment accounts for nearly €25.000 of its total price, and includes contrast stitching, striking leather specification, a heated steering wheel, and remarkable styling specifications. Delivered new in Germany, the car has remained under the care of a single owner and displays just under 7,500 kilometers at consignment. Offered in excellent condition, the car remains a fitting bookend to the glorious W12. With production now ceased as Bentley continues to focus on electrifying its range, the Edition 12 will surely be celebrated for its tremendous power and performance. When W. O. Bentley founded the company more than 100 years ago, he remarked, "The policy was simple. We were going to make a fast car, a good car, the best in its class," with the W12 perfectly capturing this sentiment through its impressive performance and exceptional W12 engine design.
