Estimated Price: £8,000 - £10,000
- In 1995, the 'new' Turbo R was launched, still based on the Mulsanne chassis, but now with Zytec digital engine management and digital ignition
- Powered by a turbocharged 6,750cc V8 mated to a GM 4-speed gearbox but more highly tuned than the Mulsanne and featuring Bosch fuel-injection, uprated suspension, anti-roll bars, superior dampers and a sport mode that not only maximised in-gear acceleration but also stiffened the suspension
- There were a number of external changes including 17" wheels with bigger Avon tyres, body-coloured mirrors, brighter headlamps and more aggressive 'ground effect' aerodynamics which made the car more planted the faster it went
- The interior also benefited from improved seats, a tilt steering wheel and a host of other revisions to make the cabin an even more luxurious place to be
- This stylish example is finished in Sherwood Green over Spruce-piped Magnolia hide and Burr Walnut veneers and door cappings
- Supplied with its original service handbook and much service history. Recent new suspension hydraulic spheres and four new Michelin tyres. Will have a fresh MOT prior to sale
- Just 1,366 New Turbo Rs were made in total, 823 in long-wheelbase form, before it was replaced by the Arnage at the end of 1997, making this now a rare car
